Chet Maxcy

He is a fourth generation Highlands County resident. After graduating from Sebring High School in 1996 he played college baseball at Webber College and later transferred to the University of Florida where he obtained a degree in Food & Resource Economics. He joined The Maxcy Group Insurance with his father and has extensive knowledge of both commercial and personal lines. Since selling his family’s insurance business, he has assisted with the launch and growth of several companies, including two fundraising companies. Today he continues to be involved in the growth and financial support of local sports teams, as well as helping grow The MB&A Group. Chet spends his free time coaching his son, playing golf, fishing, and hunting. He is an advocate for Highlands County and all that it has to offer. He is a member of Bible Fellowship Church and is working diligently to continue his father’s legacy of long lasting community service.
